Revision Date: 7-Sep-2004 - Updated for 12.1 Applicable Version(s)This example was created using Aspen Plus and Aspen Properties 12.1. It should also work in higher versions of the Aspen Engineering Suite. Problem StatementDo we have an example of a CAPE OPEN standalone property package? SolutionThe implementation of the code inside the CAPE OPEN components, such as how to develop a thermodynamic package, is not the responsibility of AspenTech. What we support is the usage (i.e. calling) the CAPE OPEN components of Aspen Plus. Attached to this Solution is material developed to illustrate the system using a trivial example of a standalone property package. Hopefully, these will help users to understand the CAPE OPEN standard and how it works in practice. See the readme.txt file in the zip for instructions on how to run the example. See the Aspen Plus User Models Reference Manual, Chapter 27 for more information. KeyWordscape open |
